About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN PRN) to join the Kids First pediatric team in Pocahontas, AR. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides flexible, on‑site nursing support for pediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to children and families in the Kids First unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to clinical protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work a temporary, fixed‑term schedule without sponsorship.
