Penetration Tester / ML Data Collection

About the role

AutoRoboto is seeking a hybrid security and machine‑learning specialist who will perform authorized penetration tests and design data‑collection pipelines for client AI projects. You will work directly with client teams in Mountain View, CA, delivering both security findings and high‑quality datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute authorized penetration tests on web applications, APIs, internal networks and hardware‑adjacent systems, documenting every step and producing detailed remediation reports.
• Design, run and automate data‑collection efforts for adversarial, edge‑case and failure‑mode datasets, ensuring rigorous QA, provenance tracking and audit‑ready documentation.
• Retest remediated findings, contribute to internal testing methodology, and maintain scripts and tooling for both security and data‑collection workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in penetration testing, red‑team or security assessment work.
• Strong written communication skills to produce clear, executive‑level reports.
• Ability to work on‑site or hybrid in Mountain View and represent AutoRoboto directly with clients.

Required skills

• Hands‑on command of standard offensive security toolkits and judgment to select appropriate tools.
• Proficiency in Python (or comparable language) for scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of web, API, network and authentication/authorization vulnerabilities.
• Experience designing and QA‑checking machine‑learning datasets, including adversarial data.
