Pediatric/Adult Emergency Medicine Physician with EMS Board Certification

About the role

Ochsner Health seeks a board‑certified Pediatric and/or Adult Emergency Medicine physician who also holds EMS board certification to join its Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, supporting both Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Children’s Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to pediatric and adult patients in a high‑volume Level IV pediatric emergency department.
• Collaborate with in‑house pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, and multi‑specialty consultants to streamline admissions and ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in 24/7 pediatric and neonatal transport operations using ground, rotary, and fixed‑wing aircraft support.

Required profile

• Board‑certified in Pediatric and/or Adult Emergency Medicine.
• EMS board certification.
• Commitment to teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
