Pediatric Rheumatologist – Full-time Physician

About the role

Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking a full‑time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologist to join its interdisciplinary team in New Orleans, LA. The role involves outpatient consultative care for infants, children and adolescents with rheumatologic conditions and collaboration with multidisciplinary programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primarily outpatient consultative care to infants, children, and adolescents with known or suspected rheumatologic conditions.
• Partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs.
• Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students.
• Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology.
• Completed a Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship from an ACGME‑accredited program.

Required skills

• Outpatient pediatric rheumatology clinical expertise.
• Ability to teach and supervise trainees.
• Research experience in clinical or translational studies.
