About the role

Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible pediatric hematologist/oncologist with fellowship training in stem cell transplantation to join its expanding pediatric oncology practice. The position welcomes recent graduates as well as experienced physicians.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pediatric hematology and oncology care, including stem cell transplant procedures.
Teach and mentor pediatric residents from the Tulane‑Ochsner Residency program and medical students from Tulane and the University of Queensland.
Engage in clinical research, multi‑center studies, and clinical trials within the department.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible pediatric hematologist/oncologist.
Completed fellowship training in stem cell transplantation.
Ability to work in a high‑volume academic medical center.

Required skills

Expertise in pediatric hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant techniques.
Strong teaching and mentorship abilities for residents and students.
