About the role

Ochsner Children’s Hospital seeks board‑certified or board‑eligible Pediatric Cardiac Intensivists to join a growing cardiac program in New Orleans. The physician will lead intensive care for children with complex heart disease, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level IV NICU, PICU and CVICU environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide intensive care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgery, including complex congenital cases.
  • Participate in the state’s only heart‑transplant and ventricular‑assist‑device programs.

Required profile

  • Board certified or board eligible Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist.
  • Training in Critical Care Medicine or Cardiology.
  • Advanced training in Cardiac Critical Care.
  • Significant experience in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care.
