Patient Services Associate - Periop Anesthesia

About the role

The Patient Services Associate supports the Perioperative Anesthesia team by providing front‑line patient care, coordinating pre‑operative processes, and ensuring a smooth experience for patients undergoing anesthesia services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and orient patients scheduled for anesthesia procedures.
• Verify patient information, consent forms, and insurance details.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and preparation of peri‑operative areas.
• Communicate with surgical, nursing, and anesthesia staff to coordinate patient flow.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide education on pre‑ and post‑procedure instructions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing or related healthcare background preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of peri‑operative workflow and anesthesia processes.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for patient documentation.
