Patient Service Representative – Vision Care

About the role

The Patient Service Representative provides timely inbound and outbound phone support for patients, promoting efficient business processes and delivering exceptional care for vision correction services.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, insurance, and payment options.
• Collect qualifying information to prioritize needs and direct patients to appropriate treatment locations.
• Conduct recall outreach to inactive patients as directed by the Director of Patient Services.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet scheduling and patient‑satisfaction goals.
• Provide counseling on procedures and billing on an as‑needed basis.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and inspiring work environment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service experience in a fast‑paced setting.
• Organized, team‑oriented, and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
