Patient Relations Specialist – Quality Management

About the role

The Patient Relations Specialist in Quality Management supports Kingman Healthcare’s vision of delivering kind, high‑quality care. This role leads the grievance and complaint process for both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring compliance with CMS, DNV and Arizona health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the patient grievance and complaint workflow, logging, investigating and resolving cases in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain standardized policies and documentation for grievance handling.
• Serve as a visible resource for patients and families to voice concerns, collaborating with clinical and operational teams to resolve issues in real time.
• Oversee the grievance tracking database, ensuring accurate case records and timely investigations.
• Identify trends, generate regular reports and dashboards for leadership and the Quality and Patient Safety Council.
• Facilitate the Patient and Family Advisory Council and distribute Press Ganey weekly reports.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in patient advocacy, patient relations or healthcare.
• Certificate of Patient Advocacy (Beryl Institute) to be obtained within two years.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer applications and data entry.
• Ability to generate and analyze reports and statistical data.
