Patient Care Technician – Women's Center (WISL)

About the role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports the multidisciplinary Patient Management Team on the Women’s Center unit. Working under direct supervision of Registered Nurses, the PCT performs non‑licensed tasks that contribute to safe, high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain patient reports and communicate changes in condition to the RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transport.
• Provide grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation assistance, and comfort measures.
• Document vital signs, activities of daily living, I&O, and other care activities accurately.
• Respond to patient requests, complaints, and provide information to patients and visitors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a patient care technician course within three months of hire.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting or as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Military Corpsman is a plus.
• Strong communication, basic computer proficiency, and reliable work ethic.
