Patient Care Technician PRN – Orthopedic Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Patient Care Technician on a PRN (as‑needed) basis to support its Orthopedic Clinic. This temporary, fixed‑term position offers a variable shift schedule and requires the ability to provide direct patient care within a fast‑paced clinical environment. The role is onsite at the Little Rock campus and is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic clinic on an as‑needed basis.
• Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks and support the delivery of orthopedic services.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and observations according to clinic protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment in compliance with hospital standards.

Required profile

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, are encouraged to apply through Workday.
