Patient Care Coordinator – Eagan, MN

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support the Children’s Therapy Center in Eagan, MN. The role ensures smooth scheduling, front‑desk operations, and administrative support for occupational, speech and physical therapy services.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor productivity of occupational, speech, and physical therapists.
• Coordinate patient evaluations, ongoing therapy appointments, verify insurance coverage, and retrieve required documentation.
• Manage front‑desk duties: greet patients, handle check‑ins/outs, answer phone calls, and use EHR software for appointment scheduling and documentation.
• Secure medical documents such as treatment recommendations, diagnosis codes, and physician orders to facilitate timely claims processing and therapy approvals.
• Oversee administrative tasks including filing, inventory control, therapist productivity tracking, and purchasing or restocking supplies.
• Perform end‑of‑day duties such as cleaning, securing the facility, and promoting team morale through workplace initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with at least one year of experience in customer service, administrative, healthcare insurance, or medical billing.
• Ability to work onsite in Eagan with one day per week in Apple Valley and flexible shifts between 7 am‑6 pm CST.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) software.
