Patient Access Representative - Urgent Care

NEW OPENING!! Join our Urgent Care team as a Patient Access Representative. This integral administrative role is essential for maintaining organization and efficiency within our medical office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by completing the patient registration process.
• Confirm patient demographics, verify insurance benefits, and schedule post‑discharge care.
• Collect copays or payments, balance patient accounts, and maintain accurate account records.
• Perform general data entry, including preregistering, registering, scheduling, rescheduling, and discharging patients according to guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or office setting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lift, bend, stand, walk) and use standard office equipment.
