Patent Agent – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Multiple Offices)

About the role

We are seeking a Patent Agent with at least five years of patent prosecution experience to support a national and international client platform. The role focuses on leveraging electrical, software, and mechanical engineering expertise to protect consumer products that combine mechanical and electrical/software components.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patent prosecution across multiple offices, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications.
• Provide comprehensive client service on intellectual property matters, including design patents and other IP forms.

Required profile

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and organizational abilities, and a desire to develop a career within the firm.
• Registered with the USPTO and possess a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
