Part‑Time Sales Associate – Customer Experience & Demo

About the role

ALSO is seeking a motivated part‑time Sales Associate to help launch and grow its electric‑mobility brand in the Los Angeles area. You will work directly with the Market Manager, delivering hands‑on vehicle demos, retail experiences, and community activations that showcase our innovative small EVs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality customer experiences in mobile and fixed retail settings.
• Educate visitors on ALSO vehicles, features, and benefits, guiding demo rides and early purchase considerations.
• Convert interest into qualified leads and sales to support local sales goals.
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of mobile demo events and drive the custom Rivian EV van to and from locations.
• Maintain the demo fleet – keep vehicles clean, charged, and ready for customers.
• Represent ALSO at community events, pop‑ups, and partner activations.
• Support retail hub operations over time, including opening/closing, merchandising, and upkeep.
• Follow operational, safety, and compliance processes as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, events, sales, hospitality, brand ambassador, or other customer‑facing roles.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys storytelling and active selling.
• Flexible work style able to handle weekends and field‑based activities.
