About the role
The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a part‑time Math Tutor to support students at the Mountain View Academic Success Center and via online sessions. You will work under the Director of Academic Success, providing one‑on‑one and small‑group tutoring during normal business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver math tutoring in person at the Mountain View campus and virtually using Microsoft Teams.
- Assist students in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and preparing for exams.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with academic staff to identify student needs and tailor support.
Required profile
- Associate degree in mathematics or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Ability to work a day shift and adhere to a 19‑hour weekly schedule.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for virtual tutoring.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $15.00.
- Up to 30% telework flexibility with supervisor approval.
- Direct‑deposit payroll.
