Part‑Time Family Assistant & House Manager

About the role

We are a busy, warm household of three in Cypress, TX, seeking a reliable partner to help run our home smoothly. The role combines daily household management, child support, meal preparation, and project execution, with the opportunity to grow as our family expands.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily household resets in key areas (kitchen, living spaces, bedrooms, play areas) including dishes, cleaning, vacuuming and surface wiping.
• Manage laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation of healthy family‑friendly meals.
• Run errands, maintain household inventory, and handle small maintenance tasks such as taking out trash, changing light bulbs, and restocking supplies.
• Organize and declutter spaces, photograph items and list them on resale platforms (Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, eBay) to turn clutter into cash.
• Support our preschool‑aged son with activities, routines and occasional learning tasks.
• Plan and execute family events, seasonal decorations, and home improvement projects, coordinating vendors and timelines as needed.

Required profile

• Highly organized, proactive self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced household environment.
• Enjoys working with young children and supporting family routines.
• Comfortable with meal planning, cooking and maintaining an orderly kitchen.
• Tech‑savvy and experienced using resale platforms and digital tools for scheduling and ordering.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to manage a consistent part‑time schedule.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $25–$30 based on experience.
• Part‑time schedule (20–25 hours per week) with Monday‑Thursday mornings and occasional flexible coverage.
