About the role

The Educator's Room is seeking a dynamic teacher‑writer to create original education content for its website and affiliated platforms. This part‑time contract position allows you to draw on classroom experience, research current education trends, and publish articles that resonate with fellow teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write news posts, reviews, and feature articles on education topics, especially those emerging from your own classroom, school, or district.
• Use personal teaching experience to uncover and report on hot‑button issues in education.
• Generate article ideas and contribute to editorial planning.
• Stay current with local, national, and international education affairs.
• Submit at least one original 600‑1000‑word article per week for publication.

Required profile

• Certified teacher, principal, or counselor experience covering grades PreK‑16.
• Willingness to produce a weekly article and submit a sample writing piece (600‑1000 words) for evaluation.
• Strong observation skills and ability to write honestly about classroom realities.
• Excellent written English with a clear, engaging voice.
