About the role
We are Veritas Christian Academy, a Christ‑centered school serving preschool through 12th grade in O’Fallon. We seek a part‑time substitute teacher to maintain classroom routines and deliver lesson plans when regular teachers are absent.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the established routines and procedures of the assigned classroom and school.
- Deliver the lesson plan prepared by the absent teacher, providing both group and individual instruction.
- Maintain a safe, orderly learning environment and manage student behavior.
- Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Remain on‑site for the full school day unless excused, and uphold all school policies and professional appearance.
