Part-time Store Supervisor – Walnut Creek

About the role

Join the Beyond Yoga Store team in Walnut Creek as a part‑time supervisor. You will act as manager on duty, overseeing store opening and closing, cash handling, merchandise operations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process adoption, open and close the store, and resolve customer concerns positively.
• Manage cash handling, shipment processing, floor set, markdowns, and replenishment systems.
• Coach and supervise the team on selling culture, customer connection, and performance metrics such as conversion and sales per hour.
• Lead the store team in the absence of other managers and support onboarding of new hires.
• Collaborate with Home Office and local community partners to host events and increase brand awareness.
• Model a compelling store experience, act as a brand ambassador, and foster an inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• Enjoy a fast‑paced, multitasking environment and demonstrate collaborative, inclusive behavior.
• Self‑starter with a growth mindset, adaptable to new tools and initiatives.
• Progressive retail leadership experience with proven supervising, coaching, and training skills.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform essential physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation; high school diploma or GED preferred.
