About the role
Accufile is looking for a part‑time, remote Research & Knowledge Services Researcher to support its Marketing & Business Development team. This temporary role involves 15–20 hours per week, working within Eastern Time business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Update court dockets, identify case details, and maintain records in a CRM system.
- Conduct research on attorneys, competitors, litigation case lists, and related legal documents using internal and external resources.
- Search for and review legal filings such as reports, testimony, and court filings via legal research databases.
- Assist with data entry and upkeep of team databases.
Required profile
- MLS or MLIS degree, or at least three years of relevant legal research experience.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
- Commitment to a minimum of six months.
