Part-Time Re-Entry Clinical Coordinator

About the role

The Part-Time Re-Entry Clinical Coordinator supports the TCSG Nurse Re-Entry Program at Atlanta Technical College. Working on the main campus, the coordinator ensures RN and LPN participants complete required clinical experiences and meet Georgia Board of Nursing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all clinical components of the Nurse Re-Entry Program, including placement scheduling and supervision.
• Identify and secure Georgia Board of Nursing‑approved clinical preceptors.
• Verify participant permits and ensure completion of 160 hours of supervised clinical experience.
• Facilitate pre‑clinical skills validation in medication administration, physical assessment, and intravenous therapy.
• Recruit, orient, and support clinical preceptors.
• Serve as primary liaison among participants, preceptors, healthcare agencies, and the program manager.
• Maintain accurate participant records and submit required documentation by established deadlines.
• Collaborate with preceptors to evaluate participant performance using competency tools.

Required profile

• Highly qualified applicant with experience in nursing education or clinical coordination.
• Familiarity with Georgia Board of Nursing regulations and clinical placement processes.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities to manage multiple participants and preceptors.
• Ability to work up to 29 hours per week on campus.
