Part-Time Primary Care Clinician (MD/DO) – Boston

About the role

Amae Health is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified MD or DO to join its new Boston clinic on a part‑time, 1099 contract basis. You will work 4–5 hours per week onsite, delivering primary‑care services to patients with severe mental illness within an integrated, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring coordination with mental‑health treatment.
• Collaborate daily with psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and community health workers.
• Document care in the clinic’s electronic health record and follow evidence‑based protocols.

Required profile

• MD or DO with a valid medical license in the United States.
• Interest in caring for individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar I, schizoaffective disorder, or treatment‑resistant depression.
• Willingness to work onsite in Boston for 4–5 hours per week.
• Ability to function as an independent clinician within a team‑based model.
