About the role
The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide pharmacy personnel services in Columbus, GA. This position is hourly and may be temporary (less than 9 months) or permanent depending on duration and hours worked.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications and ensure accuracy.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety.
- Maintain pharmacy records in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted pharmacy license valid in the State of Georgia.
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, TB test and annual influenza vaccination (exemptions may apply).
- Willingness to work part‑time hours as scheduled.
