Part-Time Night Shift Medical‑Surgical RN

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to work part‑time night shifts on a medical‑surgical unit. The RN will deliver patient‑centered care under physician direction, following the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care on the medical‑surgical unit during night shifts, including assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Follow standard precautions, prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and support patient safety and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team, orient new staff as needed.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program.
• Current Arizona RN license (or compact state) and valid BLS certification.
• Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of acute care or med‑surg experience; additional experience required for night‑shift positions.

Required skills

• Basic EKG/ECG competency.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain within specified time frames).
• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Familiarity with standard precautions and infection‑control practices.
