About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a part‑time Math Tutor to support students at the Woodstock Academic Success Center and through online sessions. This hybrid role combines on‑site assistance with virtual tutoring via Microsoft Teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assist students with mathematics concepts in person at the Woodstock Academic Success Center.
- Provide virtual tutoring sessions using Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain regular office hours during normal business hours.
- Collaborate with the Director of Academic Success to monitor student progress.
Required profile
- Associate degree in mathematics or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work both onsite and remotely up to 30% of the schedule.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for online tutoring.
