Part-time Limited Term Faculty – Computer Game Design & Development

About the role

Kennesaw State University’s Department of Software Engineering and Game Development seeks part‑time, limited‑term faculty to teach courses in Computer Game Design and Development for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Appointments are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and will be commensurate with credentials. The department focuses on innovative software methodologies and first‑rate games, constructing reliable, secure, modern software while exploring immersive realities and simulations. Positions are based at Kennesaw State’s Kennesaw campus in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Computer Game Design and Development.
• Deliver instruction on a semester‑by‑semester, as‑needed basis.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Game Development, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Credentials meeting SACSCOC Faculty Guidelines.
• Eligibility to work in the state of Georgia.
