Part-Time Leasing Professional (Temecula, CA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a part‑time Leasing Professional to support the Solaire community in Temecula, CA. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through leasing activities, marketing initiatives and lease renewals. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a smooth move‑in experience and high retention rates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to Greystar standards, coordinating with maintenance for upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of lease extensions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience in a stabilized community (≈140 units).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
