Part-Time House Manager & Personal Assistant

About the role

We are two remote‑working friends in Aptos seeking a calm, proactive individual to manage the day‑to‑day operations of our quiet home. The part‑time House Manager & Personal Assistant will maintain organization, handle routine tasks, and support our cat, allowing us to focus on our well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems, including seasonal swaps, donation drop‑offs, and event prep.
• Perform daily resets: dishes, surface cleaning, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and prepare the home for the weekly cleaner.
• Manage laundry, linen rotation, ironing and special garment care.
• Support meal preparation by reheating chef‑provided meals, light snack prep, and kitchen upkeep.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; handle errands such as returns, dry‑cleaning pickup, and gift shopping.
• Care for the household cat: feeding, brushing, play, and scheduling veterinary appointments.
• Oversee vendors, schedule vehicle maintenance, and coordinate property upkeep for a second property.
• Maintain household calendars, assist with travel planning, and track basic budget items.

Required profile

• Highly organized, self‑directed and able to identify tasks without prompting.
• Calm, steady presence that thrives in a quiet, intentional environment.
• Reliable transportation, authorized to work in the U.S., and up‑to‑date on major vaccinations.
• Comfortable with cats and willing to handle basic pet care.
• Tech‑savvy with ability to use digital tools for scheduling and inventory.
