Part-Time House Manager

About the role

We are a warm, busy family of three (soon to be four) in Newtown Square, PA, looking for a part‑time House Manager to keep our home organized and running smoothly. The role focuses on creating and maintaining systems, handling errands, laundry, inventory, and occasional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems, including linen closets, storage areas, and seasonal swaps.
• Perform daily light tidying: dishes, surfaces, vacuum high‑traffic areas, and kitchen clean‑up.
• Manage laundry for all family members, make beds, and maintain a tidy laundry area.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; handle orders, subscriptions, and package intake.
• Coordinate errands, vendor quotes, and minor home repairs; schedule vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with child‑related tasks such as diaper caddy maintenance and kid‑related errands.
• Support seasonal decorating, holiday preparation, and occasional deep‑clean projects.

Required profile

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate household needs before being asked.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working around dogs in a smoke‑free, fragrance‑free environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States, possesses reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and holds or is willing to obtain current Infant CPR and First Aid certification.
