Part-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep Support)

About the role

We are a busy family of five in Houston seeking a proactive House Manager & Family Assistant to keep our home running smoothly. You will work primarily on‑site, supporting household organization, vendor coordination, and meal preparation while also handling occasional remote errands.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain functional organization systems, declutter toys, gear, and seasonal items.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and cleaners, handling quotes, scheduling, and on‑site supervision.
• Manage the family calendar, schedule activities, handle mail, packages, and recycling.
• Plan and batch‑prep meals, source groceries, and maintain kitchen cleanliness, accommodating a cow’s milk allergy.
• Provide light child supervision during meal prep and occasional school pickups.
• Monitor and restock household supplies, manage online orders and subscriptions.
• Handle vehicle upkeep, including fueling, cleaning, and registration renewals.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented with a natural organizer’s mindset.
• Comfortable around children, including neurodivergent kids, and able to engage them positively.
• Resourceful, tech‑savvy, and capable of independent project management.
• Warm, dependable, emotionally intelligent, and respectful within a multi‑generational household.
