About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator to join its Wichita, KS service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed dock while adhering to safety procedures.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Interact with computer displays for order tracking.
- Prior forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Dependable and able to keep up with a quick workflow.
- Some experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is preferred.
