About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator for its Oxford, MA service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53 feet long.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers.
- Handle a variety of freight types while maintaining safety standards.
- Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area.
Required profile
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
- Basic familiarity with LTL (less‑than‑truckload) operations is a plus.
