About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a part‑time EMT/Paramedic Lab Assistant to support the Paramedicine Technology program on the Hall County campus. The role involves assisting faculty with laboratory instruction, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe learning environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist faculty with classroom and lab instruction, exams, and record keeping.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate laboratory equipment following detailed procedures.
• Manage inventory, requisition supplies, and obtain class materials.
• Supervise and mentor students in the lab and during clinical rotations.
• Clean and organize labs, and support special projects as needed.
• Follow all college policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a State‑approved Advanced EMT or higher certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in technical training and continuous learning.

Required skills
