Parking Attendant

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Parking Attendant for its venues in Wichita and Andover. The role creates a welcoming environment and guides guests through the parking process with professionalism and energy, managing vehicle flow in on-site parking lots, giving directions and helping maintain a safe, organized parking area. It reports to the Box Office and requires regular attendance.

Key responsibilities

• Attend the pre-event briefing in uniform and coordinate with the uniform attendant to check out and check in equipment.
• Welcome guests warmly and direct them to the right parking areas quickly and safely, following venue procedures.
• Provide accurate information about the facility and event timelines, and assist guests with special needs or mobility concerns.
• Maintain pedestrian safety, keep parking areas clean and organized, and monitor activity to prevent unauthorized access.
• Use a radio to communicate with team members and leadership, and report safety hazards, suspicious activity or maintenance issues immediately.
• Verify pre-paid permits, take cashless payments for general admission permits and/or ADA parking spaces, and charge correctly for each space.
• Follow all safety standards, company and department policies, and remain flexible and adaptable.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; customer service, hospitality or parking operations experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred; must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work flexible, extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical demands: walking, standing, stooping, lifting and moving items up to 30 lbs, and enduring temperature extremes outdoors.
• Must speak and understand English and pass a credit/background check.
