About the role
Armand Corporation is seeking a full‑time Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support its legal team on construction‑related projects. The role involves managing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and track legal documents, contracts, and project records using document management systems.
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, reports, and project materials.
- Support billing, invoicing, and budget tracking for legal services and outside counsel.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to infrastructure, environmental, and transportation matters and prepare memoranda.
- Manage public records requests end‑to‑end, including tracking, coordination, redaction, and preparation of formal responses.
- Liaise with engineering, procurement, project management teams and external counsel on project deliverables and third‑party agreements.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings with Commissioners, senior leadership, and Board committees; draft and archive minutes and resolutions.
- Monitor compliance obligations under federal and state laws and contractual requirements, communicating requirements and maintaining documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (Paralegal Certificate a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, public procurement processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
