Outside Sales Representative – Food Service

About the role

Join The Chefs' Warehouse as an Outside Sales Representative, delivering personalized food‑service solutions to restaurants, caterers, hotels and retail establishments in Napa Valley. You will be the face of the company, building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Compile and maintain prospect lists using networking, trade shows, directories and online sources.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet customers, present product samples and secure orders.
• Quote prices, negotiate credit terms and prepare contracts.
• Provide delivery estimates, collect payments and manage account receivables.
• Collaborate with inside sales to keep account information and literature up to date.
• Track inventory levels to align product availability with customer demand.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in restaurant, food or professional catering sales (or experience as a chef).
• High energy, enthusiastic team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter who asks questions and learns quickly.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Napa Valley, have reliable transportation and basic computer proficiency.
