Outside Sales Account Manager – Process Filtration

About the role

Process Solutions Integration (PSI), a SunSource company, is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager with deep knowledge of process filtration for refinery and natural‑gas processing plants. The role combines regional sales travel with technical consulting to grow existing accounts and capture new business.

Key responsibilities

• Travel regionally to call on existing and target customers.
• Service accounts, obtain orders and support customer needs through personal, written and phone communication.
• Act as a technical filtration consultant, providing product expertise.
• Monitor competition and market trends on pricing, new products and delivery schedules.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications and professional societies.
• Maintain historical sales records and develop market‑driven strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Increase customer base and profitability, leveraging expanding product lines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial sales experience, including 3+ years in industrial filtration sales.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to learn and use a CRM system.
