About the role
The Outreach Intern will assist in serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout New York City and New Jersey. The intern joins regular outreach trips, supporting frontline efforts that prioritize dignity, hospitality, and relational engagement. The internship runs from September 2026 through May 2027, 20‑25 hours per week with required Fridays and Saturdays.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food and beverage preparation for outreach events.
- Organize outreach supplies and support vehicle preparation and breakdown.
- Help ensure outreach events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse organization and manage inventory tasks.
- Support coordination of outreach schedules and logistics.
Required profile
- Motivated, dependable, and eager to serve in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
What we offer
- Monthly stipend of $1,000.
