Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator

About the role

The Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator will manage Homewood Mountain Resort’s winter‑season outdoor programs, ensuring seamless scheduling, bookings, and day‑to‑day administration for ski, snowboard, backcountry, and other activities. This seasonal position serves as the primary link between the winter team and department leadership, delivering exceptional member experiences throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily winter Outdoor Pursuits administration, including ski, snowboard, backcountry, and related activities.
• Partner with Member Services to complete bookings and reservations for lessons, tours, and guided trips.
• Input Guide, Attendant, and Coach schedules into booking and payroll systems, ensuring adequate coverage.
• Support purchase orders, procurement, and equipment inventory management.
• Coordinate daily assignments for guides, attendants, and coaches across all winter programs.
• Manage the AIARE avalanche education program calendar, enrollment, and logistics.
• Maintain SOPs, trip checklists, and safety protocols for consistent execution.
• Greet members and prospects at trailheads, lifts, and staging areas, providing excellent service.
• Create and distribute daily activity reports, including snow and terrain conditions.
• Collaborate with Facilities and Member Services on equipment storage, trail maintenance, and guest events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in service and hospitality industry.
• Experience in a winter resort or mountain operations environment (preferred).
• Strong math, accounting, and critical reasoning skills.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
