Outdoor Instructor – Seasonal Contractor

About the role

The JUMP! Foundation seeks experienced outdoor instructors to deliver immersive, youth‑focused programs across Southeast Asia and the European Union during the summer season. This freelance position involves leading experiential activities that promote personal growth, cultural exchange, and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver impactful outdoor programs that challenge and inspire youth, fostering personal growth and teamwork.
• Guide participants through reflective debriefs, focusing on learning outcomes and real‑world application.
• Design and lead activities that connect youth with local communities and environmental projects.
• Ensure compliance with risk‑mitigation procedures and child protection policies during all activities.
• Contribute feedback to continuously improve JUMP!’s outdoor curriculum and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Wilderness First Aid certification; WAFA or Wilderness First Responder preferred.
• Experience managing risk and safety in youth‑focused outdoor settings.
• Child safeguarding or protection training.
• Strong swimming ability or comfort in water environments.
• Proven ability to lead outdoor expeditions, cultural immersion programs, and experiential learning sessions.
