OTR Specialist – Remote Logistics Operations

About the role

GLT Logistics is seeking an experienced OTR Specialist to own end‑to‑end shipment operations. Working remotely, you will coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure every freight move progresses smoothly from pickup to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Coordinate daily with carriers, customers, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Negotiate with carriers to secure capacity and resolve operational challenges.
• Identify potential disruptions and implement proactive solutions.
• Provide timely shipment updates and keep operational systems accurate.
• Build strong carrier relationships through consistent communication and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate documentation, shipment statuses, and operational records.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through proactive communication and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Dispatcher in the U.S. logistics industry.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Capability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
