OT Security Architect – Cyber SDC

About the role

EY is seeking a senior Operational Technology (OT) Security Architect to provide architecture guidance and technical oversight for industrial, manufacturing, laboratory and other OT environments. The role focuses on site‑level design reviews, network segmentation validation, secure connectivity planning and risk‑based decision making, ensuring alignment with established cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply established OT cybersecurity standards and approved design patterns to site implementations.
• Review OT network, firewall, secure access, monitoring and infrastructure designs for compliance.
• Identify gaps and recommend remediation for design constraints or exceptions.
• Support architecture reviews for modernization and operational changes.
• Validate segmentation, zoning, firewall, remote access and monitoring expectations.
• Participate in complex, high‑risk OT design discussions.
• Partner with engineering and operations to transition approved designs into steady‑state support.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and impact analyses for non‑standard architectures.

Required profile

• Senior or lead architect with extensive experience in OT security.
• Proven ability to work across cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering and operations teams.
• Strong understanding of industrial and operational technology environments.
• Experience delivering design validation and technical advisory support.
