About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced OSS Java Architect to join its Engineering unit in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure OSS/BSS solutions for telecom clients, leveraging modern Java technologies and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technical framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analyses to select optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adhere to quality standards, and support build and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment, and support phases.
• Analyze system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to design scalable and secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Proven track record in telecom OSS/BSS environments is a plus.
