About the role

Infosys is seeking an OSS Java Architect to join its Engineering unit in Alpharetta, GA. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure solutions for telecom OSS/BSS environments, leveraging modern cloud and micro‑services technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analysis to select optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concepts for proposed solutions.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards compliance and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyse, design and develop scalable, secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering architectural solutions in telecom OSS/BSS environments.
