Order Picker / Kitting Specialist

About the role

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, is seeking an Order Picker / Kitting Specialist to join its Production Team at the Enterprise Modernization Center in Stevensville, MD. The role focuses on picking materials, assembling Cyber Fly Away Kits and server components, and supporting inventory and shipment preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Review build schedules with the Production Team and stage required materials for current and upcoming projects.
• Receive, unpack, verify, and route inventory components to work or warehouse locations.
• Scan and log components into the inventory tracking system during picking and kitting.
• Gather sub‑components, cabling, and materials using pick lists and build guides to create custom server and kit builds.
• Package, label, and stage kitted materials for safe transit to customers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and obtain forklift certification.
• Experience assembling and troubleshooting computers (e.g., building a PC from scratch).
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to work under compressed deadlines.
