Operations Lead

About the role

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, is seeking an Operations Lead to drive technical operational delivery for a strategic Department of Defense program. The role blends technical leadership, hands‑on hardware engineering, and team management to ensure successful system deployment and sustainment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform engineering tasks across the program lifecycle, including systems architecture, integration, and complex problem solving.
• Conduct hands‑on hardware work such as cabling, server and network equipment setup in data‑center, lab, and staging environments.
• Research and evaluate defensive cyberspace operations TTPs and threats targeting U.S. and DoD information networks.
• Manage a distributed technical team, plan resources, estimate staffing, and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Serve as senior technical interface to customers, delivering demos, leading reviews, and representing the program at acquisition milestones.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of systems engineering experience covering Windows, Linux, ESXi, network security, software development, networking and virtualization.
• 5+ years of experience with defensive cyberspace TTPs within DoD or federal cyber organizations.
