Operations Analyst – Georgia Regional Hospital (Savannah)

About the role

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Georgia Regional Hospital in Savannah. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on data validation, analysis, and reporting to improve hospital quality, risk management, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Validate incident, quality‑management audit, tracer, and survey data.
• Collect, enter, aggregate, and report incident and risk‑management data using various databases and software.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to identify performance trends.
• Define data requirements and create reporting models for system and hospital use.
• Provide consultation and technical assistance on reporting and risk‑management processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Risk, and Incidents departments to prepare reports for the Hospital Quality Council and other meetings.
• Conduct fidelity chart reviews and may lead project teams or task forces.
• Travel up to 15% within the state hospital system and actively participate in hospital system meetings.

Required profile

• Experience performing data analysis and preparing presentations.
• Experience creating reports for large, complex projects.
• Experience collecting or mining data for analysis.
• Experience identifying barriers to quality service, compliance, or efficient work processes.
• Understanding of TJC standards and CMS regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
