Onsite Project Superintendent

About the role

The Onsite Project Superintendent leads field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards. Acting as the primary liaison between project management, field personnel, subcontractors, general contractors, and clients, this role builds cohesive teams, drives accountability, and resolves issues proactively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a cohesive field team across all trades, serving as the main point of contact for company field operations.
• Coordinate daily activities with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and trade partners to meet project milestones.
• Monitor schedules, identify risks, and implement recovery plans to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits, quality inspections, and safety compliance checks.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, track change‑order opportunities, and ensure material procurement aligns with schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region.

Required skills

• OSHA 30 Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• CAPM or PMP certification (preferred).
