Onsite Project Manager

About the role

The Onsite Project Manager supports the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating field activities, promoting safety and quality, and managing documentation. This role works closely with project leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating field activities to support project schedules and milestones.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, logistics personnel, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate potential issues or delays.
• Support the Project Superintendent in managing daily field operations and help foremen achieve production, quality, and schedule goals.
• Promote collaboration across all trades and serve as an extension of the company’s Safety Team, monitoring jobsite safety compliance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with construction management software.
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (preferred).
• CAPM or PMP certification (preferred).
